Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger

By using stainless steel materials in the exchanger we ensure that the exchanger surfaces do not deteriorate thus robbing the unit of performance. The exchanger continues to produce the same results day after day after day.

All-In-One Design

By keeping all of the heat transfer efforts in one heat exchanger, losses are virtually removed. Our all in one design funnels Empire’s energy into the process of water removal, exactly where it should be. Additionally, the exchanger is capable of responding to changes in condition very quickly, resulting in much greater stability of the exiting dewpoint, the all critical result.

Easy Service Access

Periodic checks are a necessity in any refrigeration system. Our cabinet was designed with the service technician in mind.To make this chore easy, we designed the cabinet to be the simplest possible to access. Removal of four screws and total access to all internal operating equipment. In addition, the cabinet is finished in a highly durable, powder coated paint system resulting in excellent long term protection.

Digital Controls

In order to bring together the benefits from all of the features mentioned we utilize the DMC11, our digital controller. This controller is a tried and tested, highly accurate, fast responding air dryer control designed to keep the benefits you have already gained.

At General Air Products we do not consider any of our dryers commodities. Sure, we offer a complete line of standard units but each unit comes with many customizable options.

Pre-cooler / Re-heaters

At the Top Air Drying is Simple...

We all have many challenges to deal with on a daily basis, we believe your refrigerated dryer shouldn't be one of them. Keeping this in mind, we consolidated all of the heat exchange functions into a single exchanger. No duplicate vessels, extra connections or gaskets - just a simple, single vessel where all operations are performed in a fully integrated, co-coordinated fashion.

Features

Heat Exchanger/ Separator

The all in one, fully integrated heat exchanger with pre-cooler / re-heater, evaporator and separator in a single ASME Coded pressure vessel performs all functions. The integral stainless steel separator element is fully serviceable and replaceable.

Service Friendly

The "easy access" panels make this unit the simplest in the industry to service. When you need to check controls or clean the condenser you can simply turn the two key locks per panel and you have full access. The refrigeration circuit has taps on both low and high sides for double-checking operating pressures. The front mounted control panel is just as easy to open, a simple turn of the keys and all control operators are accessed.

Microprocessor Controls

The air dryer controller is LCD readout with additional LED indicators for compressor status, condenser fan status, hot gas valve status, drain valve status, crankcase heater status, power mode status and alarm status. The LCD readout is fully featured allowing access to inlet & outlet air temperatures, suction & discharge refrigerant temperatures, condensing temperature, ambient temperature, and hours of operation of the dryer. This information is readily accessible, through the DMC-20 controller, to give you actual operating status of the unit at any time.
