NFPA 13D Residential Pump & Tank Packages

Home > Fire Protection Products > NFPA 13D Residential Pump & Tank Packages

General Air Products manufactures NFPA 13D residential fire sprinkler pump and tank systems in a variety of sizes and configurations. NFPA 13D pump and tank systems are used in residential single and two family homes where water pressure and/or flow is insufficient to meet the requirements of the sprinkler system.

An NFPA 13D pump and tank system can be a less expensive alternative to situations involving the required upgrades to well water pumps and to running new or expanded city water pipes into the residence.

While General Air Products is known best for our fire protection air compressors, we have been manufacturing our RFP Systems for more than 15 years. We maintain the same quality and performance levels in all of our products.

Residential 13D Pump & Tank System Options

Residential fire sprinkler codes are often new and vary from state to state and even township to township. That is why General Air Products offers our RFP System, NFPA 13D Residential Fire Sprinkler Pump and Tank Systems, in a variety of configurations.

The most important aspect to a residential fire protection pump system is its emphasis on non-ferrous (or corrosion resistant) construction. Many systems on the market use cast iron pumps and black iron piping. The only advantage to this type of system is that it will save you a few bucks. As with anything done on the cheap, you have to worry about reliability and in the fire protection industry that is unacceptable.

Features to look for when choosing an RFP System:

  • Non-Ferrous or Corrosion Resistant Materials
  • Stainless Steel TEFC Pump
  • Stainless Steel Hoses
  • 29″ wide, Polyethylene storage tank
  • Lifetime Customer Service & Tech Support

General Air Product’s H2hOme & RFP Systems are the simple solution to the problem of insufficient water supply in a residential sprinkler system. Just remember, not all systems are created equal!
