There’s a lot to parse through when it comes to NFPA Codes and Standards Updates, which is why when it came to the 2025 updates, the team at General Air Products put their heads together with industry partners to find a way to help industry professionals learn about changes headed their way. The solution? A day full of training and discussion with experts focused on NFPA 13, 14, and 25 updates.
Hosted at the National Fire Sprinkler Training Center at General Air Products, participants arrived in the morning for four separate sessions. The first came from the American Fire Sprinkler Association’s Director of Engineering Kevin Hall and Vice President of Engineering and Technical Service John Denhardt, in which they provided insights on the updates to NFPA 13 and 14 and made sure to explain exactly how these changes impact fire sprinkler system design and installation. The esteemed Terry Victor from Risk Suppression Partners shared his expertise on ITM standards and best practices for optimized fire protection system performance.

Later, Reliable Automatic Sprinkler’s Brandon Telford discussed the protection of Lithium-Ion Cells in regards to updates and new standards. And finally, General Air’s Ray Fremont Jr, went through key changes in air supplies, making sure to include details on new compressor requirements and updates on vapor corrosion inhibitors.
All in all, it was a productive day that allowed attendees to get prepped and ready for the Codes and Standards changes arriving in 2025.
