What kind of air supply do I need for my dry sprinkler system?

The ideal air supply depends on your application: compressed air for general use, dry air for cold storage to prevent freezing, and Vapor Pipe Shield or Nitrogen Generators for corrosion mitigation.

How often do I need to replace the filters on my fire protection nitrogen generator?

Filter replacement and other maintenance should be preformed annually. Annual maintenance kits for each model can be purchased through distributors or directly on our website. Unsure what maintenance kit you need?

How do you prevent corrosion in dry pipe sprinkler systems?

Look for the UL 1450, Supplement Most corrosion in dry pipe sprinkler systems is caused by the combination of oxygen and moisture. It can be prevented by using corrosion inhibitors like those used in Vapor Pipe Shield, or by supplying the system with nitrogen to minimize the oxygen content. SC listing label (red sticker) on the unit to confirm compliance.

What is the difference between UL 1450 and UL 1450, Supplement SC?
